Parma, 1977. Civil Engineer (2004) PhD in Forms and Structures of Architecture (University of Parma, Italy). The main research activity is focused on diagnostic and static analysis of historical structures, mainly related to dimensional principles, with particular reference to the equilibrium theory combined to structural analysis for dome structures. In particular: - Historical and archivistic research on static-architectural evolution and on the progression of damages – with particular reference to the “proportional theory” - structural analysis of historical structures, with reference to monitoring data interpretation - Historical and instrumental monitoring of historic structures.
